Virtual First Friday: Home

What does home mean to you? Perhaps you’ve rediscovered your living space during stay-at-home orders, have civic pride in your hometown, or feel connected to nature and this Earth we all call home. Maybe home is someone or something that brings you that feeling of comfort and nostalgia. Explore the concept of home through the eyes of local artists and explore themes such as shelter, architecture, nostalgia, family, immigration, homelessness, hometowns, and Earth.

Virtual First Friday July 10, 6-8pm via Instagram (@GPACIndyParks)  Join us for a virtual version of our monthly exhibition opening, and create your own GPAC First Friday experience at home! Stop by the Garfield Brewery for carryout growlers, walkies, or wine (follow Garfield Brewery on Facebook or Instagram for updates on carryout hours). Then, follow our Instagram page for posts released between 6-8pm featuring highlighted artist work from our June show and inspiration behind those pieces. Engage during First Friday by commenting on your favorites, following these talented artists, and contacting artists to purchase pieces and support our creative economy to show how #IndyKeepsCreating!   The full exhibition will be up for the month of July on our website: gpacarts.org.
