Vintage Movie Night: The Toll of the Sea (1922) – Silent Film with a Live Score
This film is the earliest surviving Technicolor and features actress Anna May Wong. In this version of the classic Madame Butterfly tale, a young Asian woman falls in love with a soldier who promises to marry her, and then deserts her as she’s expecting a child.
