Encounter: A Sci-Fi and Fantasy Exhibition

Zounds! Bzzt! Woomp! Back for its seventh year at the Garfield Park Arts Center, Encounter features science fiction and fantasy themed artworks from local artists. From dragons to robots to outer space, this exhibit blends science fiction and fantasy with a unique exhibit that is out of this world!

Virtual First Friday

Join us for a virtual version of our monthly exhibition opening, and create your own GPAC First Friday experience at home! Stop by the Garfield Brewery for carryout growlers, walkies, or wine (follow @garfieldbrewery on Facebook or Instagram for updates on carryout hours). Then, follow our Instagram page for posts released between 6-8 PM featuring highlighted artist work from our August show and inspiration behind those pieces. Engage during First Friday by commenting on your favorites, following these talented artists, and contacting artists to purchase pieces and support our creative economy to show how #IndyKeepsCreating!
