Camp-in-a-Box Kits

Even though our art camps are cancelled, you can still bring a piece of camp home! We have teamed up with our camp instructors to provide Camp-in-a-Box kits with various art projects designed for kids ages 8 - 12. Once you register for a kit, we will contact you when you can pick them up. Kits are $15/each.

 

Each kit comes with all needed materials and written instructions. Follow our step-by-step instructions and feel free to share with your finished creation with us to add to our website! You can email photos with your name and age to GPAC@indy.gov.

Clay Jewelry

Once only popular in New Zealand, Maori pendants are becoming more popular throughout the world. These pendants are traditionally made from bone or greenstone (jade) but can also be found for sale made from paua shells, wood, and silver. Their unique and beautiful shapes make for stunning jewelry. We will make our pendant out of air dry clay, then decorate the necklace with additional wood beads.

Bubble Drawing

Create the illusion of colorful bubbles floating across black paper with oil pastels. This kit is $5.

Watercolor Collage

This kit includes your very own watercolor set! Paint some cool patterns and then cut up the paper and assemble a unique collage.
